Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to create a website?

When creating a website on our side, the creation time depends on the delivery of materials and subsequent communication, but it usually ranges from 1-5 days. First, you provide us with the materials (texts, images, logos) and we subsequently create the initial draft. We will send you this draft and based on your feedback, we will either modify it or provide you with all the files of the completed website.

Do I need to have my own texts and images?

When creating a website on our side it is necessary to provide the texts and images you want to have on the website. We insert the texts into the website as they are provided and we can also use images from public photo banks - however, it is better to provide your own.

Do I need to have my own domain?

Yes, your own domain is required. .cz domains are often available for up to 200 CZK/year, whereas on our side we are currently unable to register a domain for you.

What will I get after creating the website?

We create websites in the most widely used HTML, CSS, and JS format, which can subsequently be run on almost any web hosting, and after creating the website you will receive all the files (packed in a single zip file). When using our hosting, you will also receive a free SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt) and the ability to modify certain parts of the website on your side.

What do you offer as part of web hosting?

As part of hosting, we offer website operation, a free SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt) and website backup. Additionally, we will connect your domain to the website and ensure everything works as it should.

What if I want to modify the website after it has been created?

If you use our web hosting, we can make modifications to the website on our side, and some parts of the website are planned to be modify-able on your side in the future. If you host the website on another hosting, modifications will need to be made directly through the website files.

How many modifications are included in the price?

For static parts of the website, intervention on our side will be required, and modifications will be made according to agreement and time availability. However, minor modifications are usually included in the price and no fee is charged unless they are abused.

What happens to my website if JenStranky.cz stops operating?

Since you receive all the files, the website will not cease to exist even if JenStranky.cz stops operating. These files can be hosted on any web hosting, and thus the website will remain intact.
